North American Summit 2022

After two years without in-person conferences due to the pandemic North American Summit at Yale was our first conference! We brought together European Horizons members old and new from across the country. This event worked harmoniously and in conjunction with the European Student Conference with the explicit purpose of community building and providing a platform for student-led debate and discussion.

Part of European Horizons’ mission is to connect people from a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds. Our objective is to bring together a multidisciplinary cohort which can approach the pressing issues. This year, due to Yale Covid Policies, the number of participants was reduced by 50%. Turnout was approximately 60-75 total participants including: 40 non-Yale grads and undergrads, 10 EuH alumni speakers, 5 EuH executive board members, and 20 Yale students.

Digital Economy Youth Summit

Organized between 2016 and 2019, the Digital Economy Youth Summit (DEYS) brought together students and academics from around the world to discuss the most pressing issues across digital inclusion, digital economic growth, cybersecurity, and more.

Spring Forum

The Spring Forum convened in 2016 and 2017 in Washington DC to debrief and discuss pertinent issues in the transatlantic sphere. The forum brought together leaders from different generations to build fresh visions for future transatlantic security and empower and equip students with the means to act as leaders in uncertain times.
